I once tried a unit that had filter built in with fine mist for final rinse, they reckoned it did not leave water marks and there was no need to dry after, used it about 4 times then lost interest.Comment

I got a mini leaf blower a couple of years back. It wasn't great at drying the full car but great for blowing the drips out of the parts that hold water. Ideal when you wanna get some wax on quick without your nice dry cloth finding a waterfall hiding behind a light cluster or wing mirror. At last, a wash and dry only. Well snow foam, wash and dry. New polish allowing better drying. Was cooler also, but car washed like it was silk, showed the microfiber the car and it was basically dry.

On a sour note thou something has happened to windscreen. Covered in 100,s of small chips. I know they are chips cos they file my nail when rub across them. Hard to see in photo but when driving and sun is low, it's like it's covered in rain.
Noticed a few chips in paint also.
All I can think is next to work where I part British Rail have been doing work in a compound, truck after truck of stone and grit. Car was covered in the stuff. Hence snow foam pre wash first.
Can chips in glass be polished out?

6 hours of cleaning, putting everything away it pisses down.
Got inside, outside and even a start on exhaust tip.
Might well be last proper clean for a while now winter is around the corner.
