Try this:

Disconnect the red canbus box and try if the radio works. If it works: the canbus box COULD be faulty, if the radio does not work, the canbus box is OK. Then It has to be a connector.

You best to find similar one with no static lines or there is a wire on it you can cut to disable the static lines. Mine is annoying. Got a moving line and static line.
