If the car is under warranty, get them to fix it under the warranty. If the car is not under the warranty, get the genuine part and do the work yourself. I would assume on replacing the sensor, the ecu would automatically recognize the new one, as it does a diagnostic test as soon as you turn on the ignition.

Failing that, disconnect the battery leave for 20 mins, and reconnect.

Yesterday I got the same message come up service park assist Checked my 2 year warranty that I paid

£412 for and parking sensors aren't covered but then not much is !

hi Bazzer,my warranty runs out end of this month(nov)its with network/Q,they want a lot of dosh to renew,i had a quote from "warrantywise)which seems relatively good,who are you with?.also anyone else out there with warrantywise?. ????cheers ?? sandy(rnlisg)

Hi, I took out the 2 year warranty offered by EH when I purchased the car, btw I asked them to check out the problem with my sensors last month when I had it serviced they could find nothing wrong but they have worked ever since.
