Poorly car now. Died on me Tuesday. Had to leave it where it was. Code was EGR related. Went back Friday and battery totally dead now. Today been back to try and remove EGR and bottom screw is threaded... disaster!
Battery is currently on charge fingers crossed its a low battery gremlin but cant see it. Think EGR has got clogged and is stuck.
Garage next week [emoji19]sigpic

Could do. One of the screws was threaded to get it out. If I could remove I would of gone down that route. Garage has now sorted and added a blanking plate. I haven’t collected yet so will update once I have done a few miles..sigpic

Great looking car! Hope you get it up and running again.
It seems common to delete/disable EGR's to prevent damage caused by it's malfunction, at least on older and higher mileage cars. On a local BMW forum there's a lot of discussion what it might do (and has done) to the engine, even on newer cars, such as 2014-2016. Scary stuff.

Haven’t updated in a while.
So got another issue with the brembo’s. Driver side seems to grind slightly at low speeds. Booked in garage Tuesday to give them a once over.
Also rear passenger suspension has a problem, been like it for a while, when car is full the wheel rubs on the arch when it goes over bumps so garage taking a look at that also.
Plus after EGR delete I am getting the car mapped on the 16th of this month my SM Tuning.
Oh and one last thing I have slightly damaged my right side lip, need to try and rub it down and then re paint it to hide.sigpic
