I sprayed mine DIY. Within a couple of months, and being peppered with stones travelling up and down the M4 to work, the chrome has started to make an appearance again.

If your gonna paint the front 3-4 coats wont do it , plastidip i would say is the way to go , mines still holding well the colour has faded so am gonna repaint it. 7 coats of primer, 8 coats of colour and to finish 5 coats of glossifier. it wont stone chip infact its prolly better than the paint that vx stick on there bumpers
