  • Retrofit sat nav

So chaps I've got a 2011 exclusiv with the standard 300 radio. I'd like to have the usual nav/Bluetooth phone and music maybe dab (not too fussed)

Option 1 - retrofit the dvd800 (screen stereo and hand controller. Can this be done? Something like this (with a new screen)

Option 2 - fit a Chinese version that does the lot!!!
    Something like this

Not too sure about pre-facelift but on facilft one it's expensive to retrofit plus you need codes as each unit is coded to original radio (correct me if im wrong).

I have just ordered one of those Chinese units from uk based company and once it arrives i will put up a review.

Btw they have exactly same model as i bought but for pre-facelift

The DVD800 is a no go as all unitis are coded to the original vehicle. Unless the unit was decoded before removing from the vehicle it will be useless.

Silly question but I have a cd300 in mine and Vauxhall has told me that they can't put in a satnav in my 09 insignia estate so could I put a aftermarket on in it ????
