    Hi everyone!

Finally got my insignia today! So far, I'm impressed. Lovely looking car!

Can anybody give advice on best cleaning products to use on the black. Much appreciated.

    What's your OCD level?

I have a black insignia and here's my method
Citrus prewash through a pump sprayer
    Pressure wash
Hand wash using bilt hamber shampoo using 2 bucket method and wool mitt
    Pressure wash
Clay using clay mitt only if needed
    Pressure wash
Dry using MF towel the extra thick stuff
Polish using megs 105/205 if needed
    Glaze using poorboys black hole
Wax using colinite 915 (winter) or obsession wax (summer)

    For the wheels
    Pressure wash
Spray with autosmart smartwheels if its bad and work in with a brush
    Pressure wash
    wash with regular car shampoo
    Clay any stubborn bits
    Dry with mf towel
    Wax with finish kare 1000p
    Apply megs tyre gel

Christ mo! I'm just after something to keep the shine. I'm bit of a noob when it comes to detailing. So I'll have a look at some of the products mentioned. Cheers ! 🖒

In that case get some bilt hamber shampoo. Small bottle but you only need a teaspoon in a bucket so lasts forever
              A wool mitt
              Bucket from wickes
A thick mf towel for drying
Poorboys black hole for the shine
              Job done

                Welcome to the forum!

Can't go wrong using poorboys black hole glaze for that deep wet look shine topped off with some poorboys natty wax. Smells nice too

                    Hello, nice looking motor,
Just got a black one myself and looking at detailing stuff.
Im going with the poorboys black hole and natty wax, had the white diamond and natty wax on my silver car and looked pretty decent
