    Hi Ben

If you currently have navi 900 it probably won't fit. Nothing to do with design, all aftermarket head units are designed for cars without OEM sat nav. So before ordering check with supplier if they think it will work. Most suppliers are fine with you sending picture of your current set-up and based on that they will advise if it will work or not.

Did you get any further with the dab and camera, laskapr? I've gone ahead and ordered the andriod unit but I'm unsure whether to buy the dab module because it plugs in the USB. If dab is plugged in, does that take away use of the USB under the arm rest?

It might be. I won't be sure until I get my hands on the unit. It might have more than 1 USB at the back. If so that will be great. If not, it's whether or not the unit is capable of sharing the slot.

Ok so got this and fitted. It does have 2 USBs in the back one marked USB and one marked 3G but its just a USB to plug in as you please. For some reason mine came with the DAB module in the outer box (unit is in a box that is placed inside a shipping box). They didn't mention it so its either a mistake by them or they're starting to ship the unit with free DAB (£49 on their website). Including postage the price was £345 and I'd say other than replacing the halogens to hid and then onto led, it's the best mod I've done to the car. This thing does everything and it does it so well. everything is instant. All the existing car settings are there as far as I can see. There is a setting called Factory Settings that I couldn't get into because it was passworded. I managed to find it online, it's 126 if anybody needs it in the future.

The lower fascia is as laskapr said, so I've decided to keep mine in for now. I don't think I'll ever find use for the disk drive anyway. The unit plays every file I've thrown at it via USB so I'm in no rush.

This is a reminder of the link http://www.iceboxauto.com/opel-insig...droid-60-b5548 I've only had it fitted a few days and so far I'm blown away with it!

EDIT: Forgot to add. I couldn't get the USB under the armrest to work with it so I ran the USB extension cable that comes with it into the glove box and I'm going to fit a flush fitting USB socket in there (already ordered one from ebay for a couple of quid). The USB under the armrest still charges your phone though so nothing lost.

DAB up and running. I couldn't get it working after fitting so contacted Icebox and it turns out you need their app for it to work...Anyway, rang them today and they emailed it to me, I installed it and bingo! I'm not finding all the stations in the list work but the majority of them do. All the ones I listen to seem to be working so that's a bonus.

Just waiting for the rear view camera to be delivered over the next couple of days.

Hit a problem. Getting battery drain from it. I've noticed some sluggish car starts and then yesterday the battery was flat when I tried to start the car. Jump started it and drove to Halfords where they tested the battery and said it was fine. Found some videos on the youtube about testing for parasitic battery drain and tried in on mine. The safe drain is usually in the low milliamps below 50 milliamps seems to be preferred. Mine is drawing 220 milliamps when everything is off. I don't have a clue about this kind of thing so I gave Icebox a call today to ask if they've had any feedback on this and they straight away said it might be the canbus box and they'll send me another one. Hopefully it looks like It's something they come across before.

                              I'll update when it arrives.
