            Really no need to chin people for spelling mistakes, christ we aren't all perfect!! No wonder new members don't bother coming back!!



            Rab it sounds like your EGR cooler has maybe split, it is a common problem on these cars, mainly I think because of where the cooler is situated. The repair kit is ?32.40 & it takes about 40 minutes to change. However since you have had the car for such a short time it should be changed under warranty. BTW a visual inspection on the outside won't always show that it is split as it can be the vanes on the outside that it splits along the length of which is very difficult to spot.
