Don't like the chrome B pillars, like the black along the bottom of the windows though, nice touch.

I think Insignia A and B look best on 18" rims.
18" tyres are a lot cheaper than 19-20" too. My Astra Bi-Turbo with 19" rims costs £200 per corner for branded tyres.
And as for lowering: speed bumps and car park ramps become an embarrassment, parking with the front end over a kerb is impossible and stopping in a layby risks grounding the car because of the inevitable potholes.
I think if I had realised just how low my Astra Bi-Turbo sits I would probably have stuck with the 2.0CDTi I had previously or gone for a middle-aged 2.8 Insignia Elite that I had on my shortlist at the time..

Its really growing on me. Agree about 18" wheels looking fine. That's why I haven't bothered changing mine. Especially on our crappy roads. 16" is way too small for these cars though. I don't know why vx put them on any Insignia.
It's whether I'd be able to live with the dash layout though. It seems to have lost it's sloped look. Something I'd like to see in the flesh to get a better idea.2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport Sri Nav 1.5 (165ps) Turbo petrol in Lava Red - Keyless entry and start - 18” five spoke alloy wheels - Front fog lights - Tinted rear windows - Aluminium sports pedals - Ambient interior led lighting - Front and rear parking assist - Active emergency braking - Forward collision assist - Front pedestrian alert - Traffic sign recognition - Lane keep assist - Cruise control - Speed warning and limiter - Voice recognition - Bluetooth - Duel zone climate control - Front and rear electric windows - High beam assist - Auto lights - Auto wipers - Wifi hotspot - 8” colour touchscreen Navi 900 with Android Auto, Apple Car Play and DAB

I use Pirreli p-zero's mostly cos budget tires are **** although they do last a long time. But I like grip in all weather conditions.
I'm talking about a 15-30mm drop on standard shocks not a air ride slammed on its arse kinda drop.

I'm not that keen on the style of the new siggy tbh with you but hard to make a decision from pictures would need to see it in the flesh like first [emoji3] [emoji3]
