Insignia cdti 2009

Hi could any1 help:I have a insignia Cdti 2009 when engine on or off if I press the clutch pedal down upon bringing it up about 1/4 from the top it is making a clicking noise and is very annoying I have greased the spring on the bottom of the pedal but still doing it has anybody had this before ?I can't seem to tell were it is coming from as its hard to see under the pedal and not much room.

A very common problem.
Do a google search then turn your radio up.
A very expensive fix !
