Do you mean 2010? And if you mean for thorough diagnostic code reading then the asnwer will be no

The opcom I'm unsure, I have one but it only goes to 2010 and would read a 2010 Astra.

I've had a elm327 years ago, didn't think much of it.

Basically, i'm just after one to read any codes, and possibly as one of them states reset them..

The elm reader will clear codes but won't read any of them from my experience

I use a ELM 327 Bluetooth unit and Torque Pro running on Android. It reads the codes and lets you reset them.

It's saved me a lot of money

It doesn't read all codes: I've got an intermitting suspension service required message, which isn't shown by an ELM327.
