If you run eco pressures, with just you in the car, you will have increased wear on the centre of the tyres, slightly less grip, and have a slightly harder ride. I would like you hear from anyone who has a recommended pressure, based on experience.

    My experience.

2ltr Diesel a20dth 19" wheels, cheap tyres so probably hard compound, 99% of time just me in the car, estate, 50kg of stuff in the boot, 24k miles since last july.

Tried different pressures, eco was wearing centres too fast but then only me in car, so I let them down a bit.

    Settled on 31f 35r cold.
Over 25k miles averaged 52mpg on the computer. Wear now even across tread.

But then there are a lot of variables and I don't think much deviation from the door sticker makes much difference to grip/mpg/wear.

just me in the car mainly, 61plate 2.0 ecoflex hatch, using premium tyres on 19s
36psi front, 34psi rear, tyres wear evenly, nice balnce of eco and comfort
eco on mine is 39/37 or comfort 32/30 (f/r)

think the estates need more in the rear as its heavier
