Water pump mate. Factory water pumps are plastic and warp. Aftermarket come made from metal so they don’t warp.

Thanks ,my noise is so intermittent it can not do it for weeks and only does it when hot ,also there a creek \squeek from that area every time I turn the car off

Mine was the alternator, whip the aux belt off and start it up, see if it still does it.

It may be power steering fluid low topped it up and hasn't done it after that ,time will tell ,thanks anyway

What car do you have petrol or diesel have you checked your reservoir ,wipe it underneath with white paper
