Noise from belt

It could be a few things....try a search....there's a load of threads on this one....

Try spraying a little water on the aux belt, if the noise goes, check the tensioner pulley, or alternator bearings, but it will be difficult to find.

has above had this on my 11 plate pour water on the belt if it goes its will be something on the belt

more than likely its the tensioner was in mine and many others. if you take it to a garage more than likely they will want to change timing belt and water pump ( read other threads on this )

Hi

Been looking on the net at the belt and what it travels on its the power steering pump ( PAS ) thats making the noise sound like a bearing is going.

£250 for a new pump
