I find in comparison with xenon from other cars on the road Vauxhall ones not to white.

Are we talking about the same thing. The strobing indicators I think they are amazing.

Yeah, but especially on the rear of some of these modern cars the indicators are more design over function. Some of the indicators are so long and this that when the main rear lights are on, or even on bright days it makes it difficult to see the bloody indicators working

All about designs now. The functionality still the same, let others know you are moving out. Same as led rear lights does the same job as a red square block, to let people know you are there. Manufacturers always try to make the design better. As for car functionality is either to get people phones connected with the car or have the car drive override your errors, like lane departure pull you back in lane, auto emergency braking, and self parking.

Led’s allow freedom of design but you’re right square lights worked just fine before, manufacturers need to sell new cars so they use things like matrix lights as there selling point, lets be honest cars haven’t really haven’t changed much since the 1980’s where crumple zones, safety cages, air bags and multi link rear suspension and fuel injection was brought in, since then its its all about electronics to meet our modern needs for convenience and connectivity like you say.
