  • afl low beam warning but lighs working

    i have an afl low beam warning coming up on he dash but the low beam is working fine
    the cornering lights are working fine too as is high beam
    the lights also level and do the dance ok
    any ideas anyone ?

    Try switching the low beam bulbs round and see if the fault code changes. May be a bulb on the way out

      I thought the bulbs started to give a pinkish tint before they blow completely.
      LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.

        Only 1 bulb for low/high beam with the beam pattern modified by a 'shutter' in front of the bulb so issue is possibly with individual headlight shutter unit or control unit. Check beam pattern on a wall at 2-3m on low and high beam. Should be clearly defined and even L/R on both low and high.

          Wondering if the xenon is on its way out. Mine was dim like halogen so I replaced mine, much better afterwards. It's about £95 for genuine set of d1s osram, beware cheaper ones are fakes.
