2011 Hatch remote key range

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone can help me. My key fob (x2) range doesn’t seem to be very far, 15ft max. I have changed both key batteries for brand new ones and they’re both only working at a short distance which leads me to think it’s the car, anyone have any idea what it could be?

Not sure if this is what it’s like on all insignias but my previous cars range had at least double that.

This may sound daft but hold the fob to your temple then arm or disarm the car,you will be surprised!!!Try it and see.

It does work, hold it to your temple, or under your chin (either one will do). My normal range is about 50 foot, but more when "Skull assisted"!
