Its odd the audible speed camera warning was dropped in the facelift. It's the same in the Insignia B.

@Henry-root If you have Live Traffic turned on, it should pop up on the centre screen when you're approaching an incident like an accident, breakdown etc... It can be on a completely different road to the one you're traveling on but pops up incase you plan on turning onto the road it's popped up to report on.

I say all that because it was months before mine popped up. Basically because there was nothing to report.

I did say "doubt" and not definitely

How do they hold onto one long enough to be registered on a 16 plate?

The 16 was a pre fl VXR ,must've been covered up in a dark corner somewhere

2014 is the last of the prefacelift.
          Between 2013 & 2014 there is a transition between the 2 faces.

Just light the vectra, the last one is a 09 plate. And the siggy is a replacement which you can get on a 58plate.

As for the 16 plate vxr Dave mentioned. That's only a registration date. Not a build date to registration.

My dad had a Golf GTi mk5 the registration is a few months after it has been built.

Thanks Marko301 but there's "live Traffic" and Live traffic. This is just via RDS on the DAB and only comes occasionally. Proper Sat Nav Live Traffic operates all the time and adjust routes accordingly. Bit of a let down unfortunately.

Unfortunately this is mostly the case with in car built in sat navs. It is a luxury to have satnav built in to the car saves having a separate satnav, and its also there when you need it. There is live traffic like you said but not realtime which can be 10 15 mins delayed.
Don't expect too much from in car sat navs. If you want quality sat nav, Buy a Garmin with Lifetime Map updates and live traffic that has antenna built into the charger cable.

I already have a Live 1005 Tomtom but won't be using it. Remind me. What's the best source for up datable cameras? Thanks

According to page 67 of my Infotainement Manual you can create and "download" (it's actually upload) your own poi's provided they follow a certain configuration, which looks like a standard one. I'll seeif I can include a link.

Henry, tried to reply to your PM but don't think it's worked. Here is my response:

Vauxhall are confusing using two systems with the same name. The last of the pre-facelift models used the Navi 600 & Navi 900 which is now old technology. The facelift Insignia (which you have) uses the Intellilink RF900 Navi often now referred to as the Navi 900 but when the specs were initially released at launch it was called the Intellilink RF900 Navi, and the non nav versions had the R300 / R400.

Hope this clears things up for you

Many thanks. Is there any difference when it come to updating the MSC? I've had a problem with the vin being accepted?

Spoken ar length to a main Vauxhall dealer. Even two of
their top chaps had difficulty identifying my intellilink version/ appropriate software update but they think it might be usb part no V0039140763. Rrp £141. This is the Navi Intellilink V.2.0 2018 update. They do not provide updates for new roads or new cameras. The garage was not even sure if it includes cameras.

Total rip off and unfair trade practice by Vauxhall preventing you you updating their system using third party sources. Maybe worth looking into if we have any legal beagles on board ;-)

In my post facelift MY14 with Intellilink 90 it has Safety Cameras in the POI list. You can get them to show but NOT give audible warnings. What the hell use is that???

Not fit for purpose frankly. I think I'm going back to my TT 1005. Should be a laugh comparing entries at least.
