    Smile first real trip

    Forum Key Rings
Hi guys. Went on the first real trip yesterday in the Insignia, having had slight reservations about purchasing a Insignia I did have an Omega some time ago but generally kept away from Vauxhall's but I'm actually relay impressed, I'v had many/many makes of car from 500 run around's to the likes of Jaguar (S Type) and a 2009 E 280cdi Mercedes estate, I,m comparing this to the Merc as its about the same size both being estates, both diesel and Automatics, E 280 when I purchased was 3 year old with 60,000 mile the Insignia 2 & 1/2 years old with 26000 mile. the Merc cost me 21000 from main Merc dealer back in 2013 , the Insignia 11800, quite a difference in price! but I find myself kicking myself for purchasing the E class back then as this insignia is as good and in some areas better (it is not as hard on the pot holes) and has more goodies, its as comfortably. So Its fair to say I'm impressed.

Nice. The Insignia still aint no Omega as regards refinement and driver comfort. Siggy is a great car though. Forget the badge.

Yep must say the old Omega was very nice had the 2.5 petrol and would go like stink pulling caravan or not nothing held that back. Going back even further who remembers the Senator. And even further back I used to use my dads Victor FD, bench seat in front was very useful as young lad out with any girl willing.
