Great thank you and am correct in thinking the oil should be changed every 10k and the main service after 20k

The oil life is good for 20k miles or 12 months, whichever is sooner. After an interim the vehicle should have a major service. The service always alternate Interim, Major, Interim, Major etc

Brand doesnt matter, but just make sure the oil is Dexox 2. Yours, like the one you highlighted, must be Dexos 2.

I agree, but I'd say if you can afford it, particularly with low mileage/ short journey vehicles, change sooner. In my opinion if your using high spec, fully synthetic oil, at high mileage, stick with manufacturer guidelines. If you're on short journeys and low mileage change sooner.

I always use shell AG, Dexos2 is the min spec you should go for, shell AG is a low ash oil which is better for engines with turbos dpfs etc
my cars on 116k and runs great, had the sump off to change the oil pick up seal and mechanic mate who was doing the work said the engine looks great for the mileage
