          50600...

The EGR valve itself wasn't too bad, however the pipe and inlet were another story.

The replacement LED headlight bulbs arrived today and fitted earlier.

They are obviously a lot whiter than the standard bulbs, I just hope they are brighter on the road, hard to see in daylight but you can make them out......LED fogs on too (Not that I drive with my fogs on when it's not foggy, I'm not a complete tw@)

I'll see about taking some more pics when I'm out in the dark.

Looking good! Just don't expect them to reach as far as xenons and you won't be disappointed. I found them miles better than the halogens though. They just looked crap.

I thought the 'reach' was determined by the actual projector lens?

I think it's the lumens and Kelvin temperature. Higher the better in lumens but deffo no lower than 4000lm per bulb. And I think 4300k is the best temperature but they look yellow.

At the moment I think you have 4000lm bulbs at 6500k but you don't have many options because of the clearance at the back of the light between the cover. You can get higher lumens but they have fans and take up more space so you're unlikely to get the cap on.

                    The car looks superb.

Where in the engine is the egr???
I could have a go at cleaning mine.

What's the benefits of a clean one???

Yep, 4000lm bulbs with 6500k.....I didn't want HID's as they need warm up time and no good in the facelift when you're flashing high-beams.

I had the problems with the caps not fitting with the replacement set they sent me, they didn't haver the braided heatsink LED's in so sent me a free upgrade to the next model up....very tight fitment and the caps wouldn't go back on, so out they came and returned and the original ones sent.

Talking of Kelvin temps, I had 4300k HID's in my Calibra and they were plenty White.....they had a Yellow tinge at the cut off but other than that they were superb.

4000lm seems to be the limit on the braided ones at the moment. I'm sure it will change as technology progresses.

Yeah I meant 4300k look yellow against the white DRLs.

Another excellent (I think so) mod done this afternoon....

Rear seat back swap...for one with the armrest and load-through

(Apologies for the naff pics, they are off my phone (Normally good quality) but the sun was blazing!)

I'm well chuffed, it's a handy addition and 'up-spec' to the car

Plus...when I removed the seatbase, I found an iPod!

Soo much better than the standard plastic efforts.
