Discovered something else this morning,,the cars with AFL must have the bigger windscreen washer bottle fitted,took a full 5l container when re filling today should be better when the winter comes,re topping up

We're they hard to wire in?

No,,a bit trial and error Rab,,there's 4 wires,red,black,white and yellow,and a control box module. The red and black go to battery. Then you have a white and a yellow,when the white is connected to 12v they come on full brightness,then when the yellow is connected they dim. So the white is piggy backed into a switched live in the fusebox under the bonnet,and the yellow is tapped into the dipped beam in the headlight plug. Originally had the white into the headlight plug to the drl feed,but discovered that when they dim,they musnt get 12v, so went off,so easiest route was fusebox


Next job is to get some "unyellow" fog lamp bulbs
