I do my own servicing and take on most jobs myself, well all the ones I can do at home without a pit or a lift. I've spent alot of cash on her in the last few months but am coming to the end of the road I hope as she should be 100% in a few weeks once I get the final few bits sorted.
Anyway all I have ever done is wash with a not so fancy Simonez 'wash and wax' (6 times a year at a guess) ,use diesel to remove the tar, this might be a sin, (once in the last 2 and a half years) and polish with Autoglym super resin polish (once maybe twice in the last 2 and a half years)
I want to give the paint a good once over to brighten her up.
For a complete novice with a black car what is the best way to go about removing 2 and a half years of crud.
Can anyone give me a step by step and what I need to get this done? I dont have any gear like mits/cloths etc so advice here too. Please keep the product cost within reason.
Thanks
