  • Update Intililink 900 maps

Hi all. I planning on updating the Sat nav maps on a 2015 insignia Sri. The car has Intilink 900 and I was wondering if this is something I can do myself with a sd card from ebay or does it need to be done by main dealer.
Also is there anyway of adding speed cameras to the maps as a POI, as it is a great sat nav but would be better with speed cameras added.

    Thanks

Vauxhall only I'm afraid around 125 quid I think. It's a USB stick coded to your vin.

And you will need the latest update on the software for it too work
They don’t tell you that when you are buying the updated map it is written on the packaging when you get it .
It cost me £125 + £69 to update the maps this was on a 64 plate Country tourer ( now no longer my car ) I may just have been unlucky but the first time I tried to update the nav with the usb it came up with an error end up returning the usb to HERE getting the car system updated at dealer then the second usb worked no problem

The software version numbers are hard to understand too, ive no idea how old my OS or Maps are.
if my maps are upto 2 year sold i might not bother, but if they have never been updated that's pretty bad since its a 2013 car

There is no update for Android Auto on your vehicle. It only came with the later Intellilink. Older units cannot be updated to Android auto
