    Just joined. New owner.

    Hi I am picking up a 2015 2l cdti ecoflex elite later this week.

    I have had a few astra's in the past but just switched from an lpg citroen which served me well.

    I am hoping to get to know my new wheels just as well.

    I was rather impressed with the spec of the car and even more that it's zero road tax.

    I am based in the North West.

    I serviced my last car myself for the last 8 years or so.

    Are there many on here that do their own maintenance?

      Yip I do all my own service and repairs have done for years.

      Having just bought a tourer to run to work I've done timing belt and service, fitted towbar and will tackle electrics later.
      Got full set of discs n pads to go on as well.

        Welcome to the forum.

        Im new and also from the North West too.
        Ive done a few small jobs on my cars but anything serious i take my car to the garage.
        One of the issues being that any repairs i do is out on the street in front of the house, if i had a garage i think i would do more.

          Also do my own repairs such as brakes and suspension.
          LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.
