  • disable notification sound

    Hi All,

Happy owner of 2016 Insignia Elite 2.0 for a couple of weeks now and can't believe how smooth it drives!

I have a small annoying issue though. Seems like I get notification sound too often whilst driving and for no apparent reason (the same sound which rings when you disconnect a bluetooth device) like: "briiing"

I tried to disable everything I could, but it still happening within every 10-15 minutes, it's very frustrating, especially whilst listening to music

Is there not a way to disable those notification sounds ? (not parking sensor beeps or seat belt chime)

Any hints would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

Is your phone connected via bluetooth all the time? Turn your phones bluetooth off completely and see what happens, could a setting on you phone causing this to happen

No, I checked earlier today and believe speed limit is currently turned off. I'll double check though, thanks.

Phone is mostly connected, yes! I should drive for a while without phone connected via BT and see if problem persists. Thanks.
