  • Loss of power at low revs

    Hi,

I've got a 2011 sri cdti. 56k on the clock and it's started having a power loss issue between 1500-2k revs lately.
It happens for a split second, and can be intermittent. Doesn't have on idle with the revs around 1500-2000.
    Opcom not showing any codes.

    So far I have:
    • Checked the boost hose for split/s
    • Cleaned EGR Valve
    • Cleaned EGR Pipe
    • Cleaned Throttle Body
    • Cleaned MAP
    • Cleaned MAF
      Cleaned Manifold Pressure Sensor

    Still no better.

Any other things I could look out for before I book it into the dealers ?!?!

    Thanks

how do you clean the boost solenoid valve?
my cars 61 plate and on its 3rd solenoid valve and looks like it's going to need another
wish there was an aftermarket version that was reliable

Ahhh.... I stand corrected. It was in fact the Manifold Pressure Sensor that was cleaned.

Wouldn’t be Turbo issue or injectors would it?!

What does the boost solenoid do exactly and would you think I might need to replace mine?

                  Cheers

                    Bump

Still have this issue. Not got any worse, no codes being thrown up. Real head scratcher?!

If it's none of the below:
Checked the boost hose for split/s (twice - when revving it goes solid)
                    Cleaned EGR Valve
                    Cleaned EGR Pipe
                    Cleaned Throttle Body
                    Cleaned MAP
                    Cleaned MAF
                    Cleaned Manifold Pressure Sensor

Than what could it be??!! Turbo issue as it happens between 1500-2000 revs? Or... does it have to be one of those?

Plugged into opcom and no codes showing. DPF seems fine, regens regularly.

                    Thanks in advance
