Signed but pretty much pointless as all existing Vauxhalls are owned by GM and now GM have sold Vauxhall, they don't want to know. They've shown that by dropping OnStar in Europe and the UK at the end of 2020.

Henry you just don't know when to give up.
As with all manufacturers, they only support to what they call necessary. They just want you to buy their later models that has the faults rectified, as they wouldnt fix it on the current line.

They've dropped it on brand new models too. So nothing they aim to fix. Mine doesn't have camera warnings and I doubt the guy picking up his brand new GSI tonight will have it on his either.

Doubt that very much. It looks like a new system that will most likely not be backward compatible.........otherwise why upgrade to the new model car??

It sounded to me they're talking about the one we already have. I had to check the date of the article because I though it was from last year. I don't really get what that will have that the current one in the grand sport doesn't. Other than the 5 personalisations. They're adding next to nothing tbh.

Marko, they're not talking about the system you currently have, but a new one called "Multimedia Navi Pro" for the nav system. look at the pictures on the article, nothing like the current one. There's also subtle changes made to the 8" drivers display screen

Yes. announcement only released in June 2018. Some small functionaly changes but new "look and feel". The intellilink in the GS is not much different from the facelift. A new look might be refreshing on our new purchases if it was made available. It looks like software GUI updates not so much in the hardware

I wouldn't bank on it as the Intellilink is the old GM hardware / software and the new kit will have the PSA hardware / software.

Also, just like the difference between Intellilink 2.0 and 2.5 to add Android Auto, this wasn't backward compatible.

Another interesting part of the article is that it looks like DAB+ will be an optional upgrade to the standard FM / AM radio???

"In addition to AM/FM radio as standard, the top sound quality of DAB+ is available as an option"

yes you are probably right.. We can dream though

At least with CarPlay and Android auto we will get some new bits and pieces with updates to the phones.. Google maps and Waze coming this year to carplay as an example
