Perforated seat cooling

My Elite '16 seems to have different leather than I've seen before on Insignias, looks perforated ? Is this just the new model leather or does it have the seat cooling that I've read about as there seems to be no way to switch it on ?

Some sports leather seats have the cooling fans built in and some don't.
All sports leather seats on the insignia are perforated, its just a name to say they have holes in to allow easier breathing.

If yours have the cooling function then you will see a seat with a fan icon on your climate control panel on the lcd section

My driver's seat has the cooling fan.
But.....as I've retro fitted the interior, it doesn't work.
I might try and get this working.

I thought all UK spec elites didn't come with the cooling fans in the seats?

Might be wrong but i thought it was the cosmos editions a abroad that did.

Sports seats are the SRI ones buddy......not elite
