  • Air con drain

Hi, could anyone tell me if the Insignia 2.0 cdti nav has a drain for the air con , if they do could anyone advise where can it be located?
I ask as I do not seem to get a pool of water dropping after having air con running like I did on my previous cars.

    Cheers

Its just to the rear of the drivers side front suspension sub-frame mounting support arm bolt. To put it another way, directly under the air vent on the right of the infotainment display.
They both sound confusing, but hopefully you get it.

Thanks for the reply, are the drains accessed fron underneath the car or engine compartment?

Under the car, you'll see the end of the tube.

Hi, finally solved this issue. Pulled back the carpet from the drivers side centre console and found that the drain pipe was inside the car and not in the hole where it should be,
The grommet that keeps it in place was ineffective so replaced it.
Pool of water niw appears under car after using air con.

              Happy days😊😊

Good news nigrob, Siggy's have enough water in the foot-wells without the air-con adding more.
                sigpic WOW Nice Car !!
