  • Ecoflex judder

    Can any one help ..2 litre 140 brake ecoflex 64 plate judder at 1500 revs
    Ok pulled caravan back from cornwall today some 330 miles but after about 120 started to get a judder from engine at about 1500 revs and got worse up hill under load then went away after 50 or 60 miles
    Any help would be much appreciated

    Maybe your car is trying to tell you it doesn’t like carabans.

          How many miles on the clock? And have you looked at map and egr?

            Ok still got the judder without caravan on cars done 70000 ish
            Judder starts around 1200 revs n stops after 2000 ??
            Feels like a misfire than a drive train issue ....

              Try the fuel filter,may need changing.

                Have you checked your egr and map sensor ? Dirty map can give something that feels like hesitation or misfire at that rev range

                  Ok thanks will look at sensors and change fuel filter just in case

                    Had the rac out today to check for codes they found these

                    RAC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
                    System Type: ENGINE SYSTEM TEST/VALUES
                    Name: A20DTE - E59 (LHV) - 2.0L - 88 (120)
                    DTC: P039D,Cylinder 1 Pressure Variation High
                    DTC: P03BB,Cylinder 4 Pressure Variation High
                    DTC: P03A7,Cylinder 2 Pressure Variation High
                    DTC: P03B7,Cylinder 4 Pressure Sensor Circuit
                    DTC: P1325,Crankshaft Position Reluctor Wheel
                    He reset them and said the ecu may require a update from the dealer
                    The car drove without any judder after reset
                    Any thoughts on this before i book into dealers would be much appreciated

                      Wouldn’t have thought the 140 would have been strong enough to pull a caravan

                        How did you get on? My facelift 140 is doing exactly the same, codes on opcom -- DTC P1325 01: Crankshaft Position Reluctor Wheel Performance
