  • Wheel and Tyre change advice

Hi looking to possibly change the wheels and tyres on my 2014 ecoflex at present they are 215 60 16 which I think are a small wheel never had a car with such small rims
So my question is what size can I go up to without encountering any problems and does anyone have any suggestions on rim and Tyre sizes please
    Cheers

There are plenty of 18s on ebay, you have two different styles. Tyres would be 245/45x18, and not too hard a ride. Save your 16s for the Winter.

Hi do you mean two different styles of rim or of fitting think what you have mentioned is what I am after if they fit with no issues

Yes two different styles, all Insignia wheels have a PCD of 5 x 120, but quite a selection of sizes & styles. Below are two styles for 18s.

            e.g. - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-...0AAOSwfQtbULP8

            or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-...YAAOSwc~tbR1uU

You could opt for 19s, or even 20s, which will give a harder ride, but more choice of styles. If you buy some that need a refurb, you also have a choice of colours too.

Cheers would probably go for a re furb set as may be cheaper I work in a commercial accident repair body shop so a re furb and paint would be no problem

So both the ones you put links to would go straight on with no issues and clearance for the calipers
                  Cheers

Yup, actually MORE clearance. There are loads of kerbed ones, going cheap enough, pick ones with plenty of rubber.

RBH - I totally agree they look good, but going from 16s to 20s would feel like driving on bare rims!

I took 19's off and put 20's on, so not really noticable for me.
