Went to strip/clean the brakes on the Grand sport before my annual trip down to North Yorkshire only to find they've got electronic rear calipers now. What a shower of w@@kers.
What was wrong with the old style caliper? Now I'll have to take it to work and plug it in to retract the piston. Stripped the fronts no problem although the backing on the pads was glued to the caliper.
It's just over a year old, been serviced twice by Vauxhall in the last 8 months and the front pads were stuck solid in the carrier. Think it's time the manufacturers added stripping the brakes in their service schedules not just a quick look through the wheel.
