  • First week

Well one full week, 200 miles and first wash.

Things iv noticed, not sure about etc. Any input appreciated.

    1. Stop / Start - in city traffic sometimes it works sometimes it don't. Is there a set time required between each operation?
Today engine stopped while moving, changing down gears approaching a roundabout . had to stop before would restart - not helpful at the Humber Bridge roundabout .

    2. Low fuel came on at approx 90 miles, is this about right? And is there another warning like on the Astra where it locks dashboard info out?

    3. Auto lights - every morning leaving for work, it takes a good 7 minutes before lights switch off. I park under a tree so every start lights are on.

    4. How hard is it to strip out cruise control switch in steering wheel, its sticks really bad.

    5. Does boot hold a full sized alloy spare?

    6. Waze works perfectly with Android Auto.

    7. No voice button required to use ok google, everything works great just with voice.

    Loving the car so far.

It depends what charge your battery has. If its been doing a lot of stop start and gets a bit tired It'll stop working until it builds some charge up.

They have a delay so they don't keep turning on and off in a short space of time.

Try some contact cleaner https://www.halfords.com/motoring/en...-cleaner-500ml before stripping it out. More than likely a few blasts will sort it.

The car will not allow you to keep stop starting in traffic. Waze is good, can't work out how to beep at other users on the touch screen though :-(

I have a 20" alloy as spare in the boot with the boot risers

Waze in theory coming to Apple CarPlay along with google maps next month I think when iOS 12 is released. That said I have no problems with Apple maps currently. Worked fine getting me to the south of France including being more or less spot on with traffic and incidents.

Yes that is pretty normal for it to say that around 90 miles... when it gets a lower you'll eventually get the warning on the middle of the dashboard which you cannot 'Dismiss'

The miles left it comes on at will depend on the average mpg at the time I suspect. My old diesel Tourer generally popped on about 60 miles. If you’re averaging more mpg then it will think you can do more with what’s left when it pops into red.

Had this happen a few times too in awkward places, I just turn it off now.
