    collecting my car tomorrow

    Hello everyone,

    I've just taken the plunge and brought myself an Elite 140ps, which I'm collecting tomorrow.

    A good many years ago I had an Omega Elite 3.0 v6 which I loved until it decided to blow it's bottom end....

          Had one too; miss the V6, quiet, rear drive,
          dont miss the; mpg, crap steering box, front suspension which liked to collapse in on itself.

                    Thanks everyone,

                    Love the car although I've discovered 2 downsides to changing from my 03 plate 167k mile 1.8tddi Focus

                    1) you don't realise just how fast you're going (thought I was doing about 50mph but speedo said nearer 70 yesterday)

                    2) when I get some muppet in a BMW or Audi come flying up behind me, I can't cover their car with soot and smoke like I used to in the focus pmsl
