  • Drl led bulbs

Ok, this is embarrassing but I've bought 3 separate pair of led bulbs, none work.
One set was advertised as being for the Insignia bit the connector was too small.
    One set flashes
One set blinks once then dies...

Can anyone provide a little to some that will work in my 2011 model please!

    Thanks.

As far as I'm aware, you'll still need resistors fitted with any led drl bulb you put into the prefacelift.

I'm not too clued up on prefacelift drl bulbs. Are they not a T10 fitting?

      I think it's a T20

Ah yes that's the one. Have a go at using the search button I'm sure you can dig up an old post explaining everything.

7443 T20 and you'll need resistor. None are error free. I got them for hids direct and had to specify for the insignia so they had the correct pins.

Yeah I've been to hids direct a few times, but i think they've now gone bust.
Unfortunate really as I'm only 5 minutes away.

Didn't the shop get damaged during a storm?

              Guess it's not reopened then.

                Oh is that what happened?
I did wonder. The shop looks intact from the outside, phone line is dead though.
Shame, as you could haggle at the trade counter and get bits for dirt cheap!

                    I'm not surprised.
I bought a kit for my vectra c many years ago and had nothing but trouble.
It took nearly 2 months to be refunded after Id sent the kit back.
                    They weren't the cheapest either.

They're after sales service was diabolical.
I'm still convinced it was a one man effort.

Handy for me though as only around he corner.

I got some 'error free' led bulbs today. It was a bit of a squeeze to get the bulbs into the holders but i managed it. The bulbs looked lovely and were nice and bright. Until i started the engine, they played havoc with the rest of the bulbs, causing one of the headlights not to work, drl's never came on at all. So I huffed and puffed a bit and put the old ones back in. Any ideas guys? Is there a how 2 on the resistor mod? Tia, Adam.

I wouldn't have thought it'd stop the headlight working.
These are the ones I got, aftet a bit of faffing about and rewiring they look good, and even dim as they should.
Look nice with my newly installed h7c hid!
