  • 2.0 ecoflex 2014 rather slow

is it me is it my car or am i just exaggerating as i feel like my 140bhp car is really slow . Basically i drove my mates passat estate 140 bhp and its way more responsive and powerful than my insignia is that normal or is there something wrong with my car?

Insignia is probs a lot heavier than the Passat, and the ecoflex has longer gearing ratios for economy

I know mine is 170 bhp and as said not slow. Gets to where you want it really quick. Maybe it's just the response time, the VW Caddy at work is more responsive on the gas pedal, as are the Transits and the Merc. But the insignia is long winded and does actually get there quicker.

Checking spec should do 0 to 60 in 10.9 seconds which is only a second slower than mine being the 168 bhp version.

Not being familiar with vauxhall dash messages I didn't know that " service your car soon" means I have a problem. So I have this message on dash which means I do have a problem and my Bluetooth obd scan brings no faults. Car sounds good so it must be something like egr.i recon

Alot of the OBD code readers are unable to do what they are supposed to do.

I myself came from a Passat. That originally was 140 bhp and then I had it remapped to around 185. When remapped I could certainly feel the difference. I feel the insignia suffers alot from turbo lag in which my Passat didn't.

Though my Passat remapped did 0 to 60 in 8.5 seconds
