Anyone know what should have been supplied in the passenger glove box. See there are some cut outs. My locking wheel nut adapter is current rolling around in there. Astra had original nuts all stored in a little blue box complete with adapter.
While i was searching i found a bag with a bit of card in saying do not lose. Its a code / key for locking wheel nuts i think. Anyone know this for show. It says something about will be needed when goes in for a service etc and to quote a different number that's not actually printed anywhere?

From my experience buying new cars nothing ever comes sitting comfortably in the cut outs. The service book/manuals etc... always come in the cloth wallet that doesn't fit in the cut out and the locking wheel nut adapter just comes in a little clear bag that I move straight to the spare wheel area and keep it there. I also keep the little box with the original wheel nuts in the shed but I can't say I've ever seen them sitting in the cut out. they're usually just all dropped in together.

I don't like thing I don't need in the glove box. In mine there's usually a pen and paper in case of minor accidents and tissues and wet wipes which are a must when transporting the younger grandkids.

Oh and I think that card is in with the locking wheel adapter or in the wallet...can't quite remember now.

ye nothing comes in the cut outs
i keep a small set of tools in my boot for breakdowns
even if your not a diy person i would say keep a cheap 1/2" ratchet and a socket to fit the wheel nuts in the boot
the supplied jack uses the wheel wrench to work and without a ratchet it is very difficult to use and takes forever to jack the car up

Lol don't have a jack or a spare. No such thing as a cheap rachet / socket set hahaha. Have over £5000 of hand tools and boxes as it is for work.

That's another expense a spare and jack etc.
