  • Lumpy engine

    So where to start... 😂

My insignia had a cambelt snapped and with that camshaft changed and head gasket. When it was fixed, I drove it and it never seemed OK, lumpy on idle nut specially between 1.5 and 2k rotations and leaking coolant. There was a leak on the coolant system, fixed. Took it and after a few miles engine goes into limp mode. Checked again, intercooler hose had a leak. Fixed.
Took it home, seemed fine, after a couple of days while driving engine goes into limp mode again and starts racing. Garage again, it looked like turbo but the code was about dpf.

After clearing the codes, car revs fine but keeps saying service soon and no codes coming on now, very smoky (white smoke) before warming up. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Just to mention that there was some oil in the intercooler hose.
    Car is a 2.0 diesel 13 reg. A

White smoke is diesel, so prob not turbo, but may be due to poor compression in one or more cylinders. Check compression in each. Oil on internal intercooler parts is normal.
