    After almost 3 weeks of fault finding, removing the dash and checking cables, Vauxhall instructed the dealers to change the sounder.

    I've had the car back for 3days and no alarm heard

      You have checked to make sure the alarm sounds when it should though haven't you?

        I haven't as yet, don't want to upset neighbours, but the status light is working as should so no faults detected through the system

          I'm just pulling your leg They will have tested it at the dealers.
