I'm set to have my car remapped at the end of the month.
To remap it they need to remove the ECU and modify it.
The gains are 140 bhp - 190bhp
Torque 350 Bhp to 400bhp.
Car has being looked after and since I've got it I've changed the oil every 10k using shell and Mann filters.
Still on original clutch and dmf and has the F40 gear box.
The map itself is coming from a company called SLT remapping. There based in Sheffield. There map matches what every other company on the market so I'm not to fused.
Ive ran with a remapped Passat before which had 140 bhp and went to 180 bhp. Engine wise was great
Is there anything else I need to take into consideration. The car isn't going to be tagged about and has always being used on the motorway.
Should I expect any issues with the DPF or flywheel?
Thank you
