  • My first Vauxhall Insignia

    Hi

I am new to the Insignia in fact I'm new to Vauxhall as I have always owned Honda's
    I have bought a 2010 SRI CDTI.
I like it so far but unfortunately I miss having built in sat navigation, and blue tooth for my phone. I believe there is some way to add these but I don't have a clue how. Would it be a big job to add these? Any advice would be appreciated

    Ian

Ha that blue tooth dongle sounds appealing . I'll do some google searches and see what people recommend. I have heard they are a bit hit and miss. I'm not too bothered about having no sat nav, my tomtom will do fine but it would be nice to stream music and make and recieve phone calls

I had on in the Astra J

        same as above

Mine was more hit than miss, used with a windows phone and it was ok, even Cortana worked perfectly.

        Lots of others under £20

You can always just plug phone into aux for music

            Don't do prefaces :-P

Easiest option is to get an android stereo.

Hi folks,I'm thinking of purchasing a 14/15 insignia sri diesel. Its an ex company car,has 100k on it with a FSH.What should I be looking out for in general. Also should the oil sump pick up have been replaced as I see it's a problem with some insignia.Thanks.

Ask the company that had it if they have details of any work they carried out on the car. If it is FSH at a main dealer ring them, they can check and advise. Just say if your thinking of getting the car and would like them to look after it. get an idea if they know the car for the right or wrong reasons.

Oil seal was only an issue on preface models.
