  • Hello! New member

Hi, just joined having upgraded my 2011 1.8 Exclusiv (petrol) to a 2009 2.0 petrol 😂

Anyone else got the 2.0 Turbo petrol? Any thoughts on it?

        Hi,

The 2l petrols are pretty rare around the forum but there are a few members with them one is @0011728 he may be able to give you more info. His car is the facelift though so not sure if they changed the engine.

Get some pics of your car posted when you get time!

Depends what imfo you need, as Marko said mines the facelift and is standard spec but has more than enough power (0-60 in 7.5sec) and top speed 155mph though mine may be a tad slower as it has most of the factory options fitted. Economy wise I have averaged 33.s over 27k miles but it can be thirsty when booting it. Never had any issues reliability wise though I've had it from new and full Vauxhall service history. Engine tech wise I am not a au fait with.

I’d never realised they carried on with a 2.0 turbo petrol, no wonder being more recent it has so many more extras (keyless etc) than mine! Even with mine being the Elite trim

Its a 64 plate Reg Oct 2014. Only things I have done under warranty are new pedal box and new air con compressor. But I have the lifetime warranty

Very nice! Thank you for sharing some info

Got to say although I loved my 1.8 NA insignia, the power was horrendous and the pull of the 2.0T is incredible - I imagine it’s even better with the 250bhp 2.0T!

Yeah the power is so smooth and linear, and the engine so torquey. You can tootle around in third at 20mph and accelerate to triple figures without even changing gear. very quiet engine too
