rear bumpers? preface and facelift

Different as you can tell by the rear lights

i have not looked at the rear of these cars enough to notice a difference so far, but thats useful to know..

I remember on our old vectras and Signums it was just the front that was different but the rears were same and therefore interchangebale....

boot lid is also different shape too

The hatchback/saloon is different but estate is the same

One more question while on the subject of these differences.. Grills, are the VXR upper and lower Grills the same between facelift and non facelift VXR front bumpers?

You can get a preface vxr grille or change the bumper and headlights with facelift

Hah seems I bought the wife a preface VXR bumper when I needed a facelift version. Looking at the pics this evening and comparing it to her current bumper the headlight area does not look right.

Oh well will see if the seller wants to do a deal to keep it and let me have some cash back so he can sell it for a better price than I paid. Unless anybody here wants one in white... Will teach me to impulse buy while I am at work on my phone.

And just when it seems to be all doom and gloom it turns out I did buy a facelift VXR bumper after all. I still can't tell the difference just by looking at it or trying to compare it to the front of another facelift car... just need to find a rear for a facelift hatch now..

Nige, the insignia is harder work to lift than the vectra.
