    Thanks for the replies. Don't have any photos to hand but it's that medium metallic blue, it looks very smart.

    Still curious to discover what easy upgrades are possible. As I said before, I bought a base Mondeo and specced it up to Titanium level really cheaply and easily. I know the Insignia is a lot newer but there has to be some things I can do to improve it without buying an upper trim level. Also the price she's giving me is really good, too good almost. Only downside is that it's not an estate.

    Also I have read a lot about Insignia diesel engines breaking irreparably around the 60-80,000 mile mark which is the only thing that makes me hesitant. I would love to learn more about this issue, how it can be prevented etc.

    Auto rear view mirror dim is do able, folding mirrors, sat nav + android auto, heated seats, heated steering wheel. Boot lights if the car don't have AFL.

    You could just buy mine as it's got the lot being an Elite.

    I think this was rectified on the face lift model.
    LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y 15 front grille.
