I would glue it down and live with it tbh,especially only 2 months old

Personally I'd replace but that's because it would live in my mind until I knew it was sorted. I wouldn't risk it because I have do idea what stresses a tyre goes through on motorways etc...

I had exactly the same on my red, the vauxhall dealer said it was only a tyre protection trim and glued it back on. I wasn't sure about this so took it to two different test centres and they confirmed only protection purposes in case you clip a pavement etc.. Hope that helps
