Hi,
So my Insignia occasionally has trouble starting (just cranks and doesn't fire), which generally led me to suspect the EGR valve. I got a guy to do the diagnostics and there are tonns of error codes, including the EGR code, two cylinder sensors and a bunch to do with the radio.
What suprised me is that the engine fuel flow and turbo boost are higher than they should be but it was proportionate to the power setting, which suggests that the car has been remapped at some point.
Although not really an issue the remap had the additional effect of disabling the EMU warning light which should have been on when the EGR valve gets stuck and the cylinder sensor errors.
