right drivers side headlight dipped not working

    Forum Key Rings
Hi I just swapped out my my prefacelift Xenons headlights

Sold my old ones in good working order

These new ones come with no ballast but I'm waiting on them to arrive
Anyway I fitted both and new bulbs bought from 2 different places
The passenger side dipped beam h11 bulbs turn on when dark

The driver side h11 bulb doesn't turn on

Yet if I reinstall the old drivers side prefacelift headlight it works

So I'm thinking it a faulty unit he sold me

    Would you agree ???

D3s which isn't installed yet No ballast on both
But also has h11 I've installed on both

Wasn't expecting it to work without ballasts but the passenger side bulb lit up when sun went down while installing the bumper but noticed the driver side hasn't

As in pics the passenger side on but drivers side off

That bulb is a cornering bulb. Going by the pictures, your steering is turned to the left so that bulb is lit up. Turn your steering straight and they'll both be off, turn it to the right and the other side will be illuminated

Think it is a separate feature but I thought as long as it was AFL to AFL you would retain all features and your headlights will still move when driving etc
