Personally,I’d pay that little bit extra.cheap skating on tyres to me is a little bit stupid.
and at certain speed, could make a difference on your outcome!

FWIW, over the last 10 years I have used Falken, Nexen (N8000), Kumho and Avon tyres and I have not been disappointed . Even Goodyear NCT5's were fine. You may need to factor in that midrange tyres wear out quicker than 'premium' tyres, but if you don't do mega miles, then such midrange tyres are worth considering. Best to avoid Chinese-made tyres, but Jinju tyres, from reviews I have read, are decent tyres, which would suggest that the Chinese and Korean tyre makers have learnt a lot from the Europeans. (Just avoid 'Linglong' and 'Wanli' and the like).

Have had Jinyus on my previous facelift 140 Sri hatch and bi-turbo Country Tourer. Great all round tyres - quiet at speed, cars handled well in dry and wet (as good as OEM Contis), never let go under hard braking and lasted well. Would have them again but now steering towards Landsails next time for 20" rims.
